Volunteering for UVS has been a wonderful experience. It is a great pleasure to be able to work with people from all over the world, united together with the common goal of spreading climate change awareness.

UVS do incredible work and I was privileged to be a part of what they do. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. They helped me with whatever questions or issues I had and all the volunteers produced excellent work. I learnt a lot about the environment and got to improve my writing and research skills. I think getting the information out there about what is going on with climate change is the most important thing for aiding people to change their lifestyles and make an impact, so I'm very proud I got to be a part of this project.

Green greetings! I want to thank UVS for this opportunity. I want to let you know that you guys do a really great job of awareness. I had volunteered for six months, During this time I have been with my huge green family as a video editor. I had shaped my skills and educated as well. But the more important thing is I had become concerned about our planet. AND THIS IS THE MESSAGE. Climate change issues have become one of my main priorities.

Volunteering with Universal Versatile Society was an exciting experience. I enjoyed collaborating and sharing ideas with the volunteer team, as well as facing our challenges and deadlines head on. Online volunteering was also a great learning experience for me. It allowed me to broaden my knowledge and skills in project management, monitoring and evaluation.

My volunteer experience of Universal Versatile Society (UVS) as Social and Digital Media Marketing Content Developer is self-evident and unforgettable. For starters, Drishti, the Digital Marketing Lead, and Mr. Solanke, the Project Manager of UVS, warmly welcomed us and helped with the on boarding training, which made us feel at home in this organization. With the clear format guidance of videos and accessible resources, more and more creative deliverables with high quality could be produced and proliferated to the broad audience. Moreover, volunteers were also encouraged to swap teams for better improvements not only in technical skills but also in soft skills by telling terrific & educational stories in just 1 min. Through those videos, we were also able to have a taste of others’ point of views and try to understand the angles that others used to tell the story. All in all, I personally enjoy volunteering for UVS so much that I have requested for extending my service term with the organisation on another project. Join us, and you will have bran-new understandings of SDGs and climate change.

Working for UVS was a great adventure and pleasure. I met ambitious and creative people from around the world, improved my English and enrich my knowledge about social problems in India. I recommend this volunteering to anyone who wants to expand their competences and test themselves in the skills in which they want to develop.

It was a great professional experience working with many professionals from India and around the world as well. With the help of UVS, I had a chance to apply my knowledge and skills in the project while making a small step towards installing solar panels in Nagthana that will help improve their electricity supply security and wellbeing.
